CEN has published, on August 5th, the Derived Cetane Number method EN 16715 which is based on PAC’s CID 510. All CEN member states will have adopted it on a national level by February 2016.CID 510 Cetane Ignition Delay
CEN TC19 has also started to work on an amendment of the EN 590 diesel specification which will include the addition of EN 16715 as alternate method to the engine.
