HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED...
How many inspections have been
completed on Alcor JFTOT heater tubes?

ISO
9000X CERTIFIED
Alcor -- manufacturer of the only instrumentation specified
in the ASTM D 3241 method -- performs numerous tube quality tests, each carried out so you can
confidently sell a tank of fuel for use in an aircraft rather than sell it
as kerosene. It all starts at the foundry...
Inspection 1:
Before the aluminum can be drawn into the tubing, the foundry first
analyzes its elemental makeup, ensuring the material precisely meets ASTM
D 3241 guidelines. Each piece of material then undergoes inspection
verifying straightness and that ID and OD are concentric with each
other.
Inspection 2:
When our Alcor production plant receives the materials, quality
documentation supporting all data listed above is included, ensuring us
everything meets our strict production guidelines. We use a random number
generator during incoming inspections to determine which pieces to single
out for additional quantity control.
Inspection 3:
These randomly selected pieces are then machined into heater tubes and
taken completely through the manufacturing process, each one 100%
inspected for every tolerance to demonstrate reliability.
Inspections 4, 5, 6
& 7: Additionally, during the every day process of producing JFTOT
tubes, each one is 100% inspected by at least four different people.
We take pride in
knowing we produce the only ISO certified heater tubes, and have never shipped a tube that wouldn't produce a reliable test
on the JFTOT.
