Physical Properties

PAC analyzers also measure the Physical Properties of new developed alternative fuels like Ethanol Blends and all kind of Biodiesel and Biodiesel Blends.

PAC offers more than 60 laboratory and on-line analyzer products for physical properties analysis across the complete range of industries served by PAC technology.
These properties include Vacuum and Atmospheric Distillation such as OptiDist, PMD 110 and MicroDist, Cloud Point, Freezing Point such as FZP 5G2s, Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP), Pour Point such as MPP 5Gs, Flash Point, Vapor Pressure such as HVP 972, Viscosity such as HVM 472, Combustion such as CID 510 and Bitumen Properties.

The measurements are based on already established standard test methods or on new alternative test methods which are developed especially for PAC instruments. These new alternative methods typically require less sample volume, deliver faster and more precise results and dont require high skilled operators.

With highest experience in lab and online measurement and by using similar technology in lab and online we can guarantee perfect correlation between lab and online measurement.
A perfect example is physical distillation where we offer the traditional D86 / ISO 3405 Distillation, an alternative Distillation method such as the PMD 110 and the MicroDist as online instrument which is based on the technology of the accepted PMD 110 lab instrument. Analogue to that we can also offer simulated distillation based on GC technology.
