PAC offers an impressive portfolio of elemental analyzers. Our innovative solutions enable a wide range of customers to confidently measure the quantitative composition of specific elements in a wide range of compounds including fuels, petrochemicals, water, foods, pharmaceuticals and other products.

PAC’s on-line elemental analyzers are routinely used in industry to measure total sulfur and total nitrogen in liquids, gases and LPGs.
Although originally developed for laboratory use, sulfur analysis by ultraviolet fluorescence (UVF) has increasingly become the leading on-line analyzer technique for low level sulfur analysis in fuel applications. Antek’s 6000 and 6200 series of process analyzers by PAC can be configured for sulfur and/or nitrogen detection to monitor these elements at various points in the refining and petrochemical processes to provide catalyst protection, to optimize process performance, and blending to meet final fuel specifications to reduce give away. Sulfur concentration is used by pipelines to discern the difference between various grades of products and determine when to make the cut between products. The 6200 HSS (High Speed Sulfur) analyzer has the ability to deliver results in less than 1 minute, every minute and is used in this time-critical analysis. The ability to provide analysis in 1 minute, as opposed to the 2.5 - 10 minute analyses offered by other commercially available analyzers, results in considerable financial savings.
