The AC Aromatics (ASTM D 5580) application measures the aromatic content in gasoline by determining:
- Benzene
- Toluene
- Ethylbenzene
- Xylenes
- C9 and heavier aromatics Total aromatics
The AC Oxygenates (ASTM D 4815) application determines individual ethers and alcohols in gasoline, including:
- MTBE
- ETBE
- TAME
- DIPE
- C1 C4 alcohols tert-amyl alcohol
