The PSPI Reid Vapor Pressure Monitor is a continuous, on-stream process monitor for measuring the Reid Vapor Pressure of blended fuels, distillates, and other multiple component hydrocarbon fuels. It is especially well-suited for applications where fuel production must be optimized while at the same time keeping in compliance with stringent RVP requirements. With the PSPI Reid Vapor Pressure Monitor, on-line Reid vapor pressure measurements are made quickly, conveniently, and completely on-line in real-time, yielding consistent, accurate data. It is designed to measure RVP from 0 to 22 psi, and measurements directly correlate to ASTM D4953 and D323 test methods. Readout is directly in RVP units, and the monitor returns the sample directly to the process stream from 2 to 25 psig below inlet pressure. An integral heating/cooling system maintains proper measurement chamber temperature, eliminating the need for auxiliary air conditioning or coolant systems, and ultrasonic agitation of the sample reduces analysis time. Average cycle time is still less than six minutes, and preparation of the monitor is completely customizable with user-programmable measurement cycles, units and alarms. The PSPI Reid Vapor Pressure Monitor is completely microprocessor-controlled with self-diagnostic capabilities, making it economical and simple to operate and maintain.
